I've got some new artwork I've been working on. Unfortunately I've hit a bit of a snag. Like I've been posting for the past few weeks I cannot get my things to look the way I want them too and its driving me bonkers. I've got a plane and a mechanical bull but they still don't look exactly how I want, I've been trying to get that grain effect I posted the other day but it just isn't working.
These are close to want I want in terms of a minimalistic style but they're missing that texture I really want.

This seems like it’s going to be a really cool animation. I can already see it in my head and I think that sound is going to be a major factor for you. Because your piece is going to be fluent and fast paced your transitions are going to be very important. I scribbled down some notes in class about what you wanted help with. I wrote down jet pack, finish line and mechanical bull. So with the finish line I saw that it is supposed to transform from the aurora lights to the finish line tape. The way I see that happening is making the font that says “see the aurora lights” very wispy and having the camera zoom into one of the horizontal lines of the font and just turn that into the finish line. For the jet pack I liked the idea someone had in class about morphing the jet pack into the tattoo gun. Or possibly tracking up with the guy on the jet pack and just zooming into his arm and bringing in the tattoo gun to make the tattoo. After the tattoo is finished you can zoom out to reveal the man already on the mechanical bull. When I think about this I picture it as an ever-changing image that never holds still.
